Today I reviewed HTML tags and elements. I also was exposed to some of the attributes that elements can have. After that I got an overview of parent and child elements. The idea that their use allows you to create more complex structures sparks a lot of potential ideas in my mind. I briefly covered nesting tags, taking note that the child element has to close before it’s parent element closes. The lesson ended by discussing the different web standards that are available such as, HTML 5 and the HTML living standard. As I am practicing, I have realized the importance of working with a good code editor and how much more efficient it can make your work habits.
